Edward

My Handsome Little Man

I used Typeset Alphabet Bigz die set to create the E for Edward.

I raised the e off the page by using box cardboard in the same shape.

The turtle and the rabbit are all fussy cut out of the Designer Series Paper Storytime.

I've used Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine and Old Olive Brads.

The dog cat and duck are from the stamp set Storybook Friends.

these gorgeous little creatures are are fussy cut from the Storytime Designer Series Paper

the card stock used in the base is card Midnight Muse,
and I use similar coloured cotton in the stitching.

Wonga

This photo is of the moon rising as the sun sets at Wonga Beach
I hand made the flower using stamping up card stock in both Early Espresso and Bravo Burgundy.
the leaves are made out of Wild Wasabi card stock using the die cut Little leaves

the letters are all multi layered and daubered with Bravo Burgundy and gesso paint.

I used the 1" and 3/4" Circle punches as the base to make the swirl flowers

the new Big shot die Lattice adds a nice effect.

most of the flowers and leave have all had gesso and gold paint add to them
to create the look that you see.
have a scrappy day creating.

I Have

I have

Well I have created something quite beautiful with the help of my big sister.
This layout is her design.

My Sister Susan was here all the way from Holland.
and while she was here she taught a class of 10 ladies,
some of her wonderful ideas and this beautiful layout
I was lucky enough to be one of them.
the flowers are all made out of a paper called Fan Fair
I used Island Indigo card stock as an accent colour
and the green used is called Gumball.
The fox and the rabbits are from a wonderful stamp set called Storybook Friends.
The cake used in the bottom right hand side of the layout is from the stamp set  called Make A Cake.
the Antique brads add a nice touch.
The I Have was cut using the new Typset Alphabet Bigz die set and Fan Fair paper.
the  leaves to the bottom left side of this photo are stamped with
the leaf branch from Day of Gratitude Stamp set.
1" circle punch used to create these swirl flowers
some of the leave are embossed using an embossing folder
called Textured Impressions.
the trim used below the I HAVE was made from Scalloped tulle ribbon in crumb cake edged with champagne glass glitter, topped with the edge of a paper doily sizzlits die cut using Island Indigo card stock.
then a strip of designer series paper called fan fair then hand stitched with a similar coloured thread.
As I have grown older I've learnt that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

have a scrappy day

Beautiful Lady

This photo is of my Mum on her wedding day.
I wanted to play with idea of white on white.
I started with Stampin Up Whisper White card stock.
distressed all the edges then using a Very Vintage jumbo stampin wheel heat embossed white embossing
powder.
to create little hidden features I dry embossed white card stock using the vintage wallpaper folder.
stitched white threaded around the edges and with another layer of white card stock used scallop trim border punch to create a beautiful effect then crystal effected the edge.
the photo I used is the original photograph from the wedding so I had trouble with the integrity of the card backing the photo I over came this by using thread to secure the photo over adhesive of some kind.
And as I didn't want to stick anything to the photo so even the letters are placed on a strip of window sheet.

there is about 35 little leaf branches cut out of white card stock using the little leaves die,  lol crazy I know but I used them to adorn the edges.

I made canvas flowers using the Big z large die Fun Flowers they are painted with gesso priming  paint to add texture and stiffness and used Antique brads as their centres.
I made the butterfly s  with canvas using Beautiful Wings Embosslits.
it doesn't show up in this photo but I add dazzling details to the tops of the butterfly s and the scrolls on either side of the flowers are wooden die cuts paint white then clear glass beads glued on top.
most of the products used in this layout are found in the Stampin' Up catalogue.
I've linked this layout to Make It Monday
Have a scrappy day.
