Crisp Cantaloupe, Basic Gray, Gold, Texture and a Brad.
The challenge was set.
I love flowers! Maybe its because I'm surrounded by boys, two sons and a husband,
so to compensate for all that testosterone I add flowers to as many things as I can.
And when my friend and upline Shannean set a craft challenge to create something using the above five items, I immediately think how do I creatively include flowers into another product?
I pulled out the stamp set Flower Shop used it to Gold emboss Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, punch them out with the Pansy Punch then fussy cut the blank parts of the petals out, stuck them down on pansy punched Basic Gray card stock.
I used Secret Garden framelits to make the leaves.
I placed the flowers and leaves onto a panel made with Sahara Sand card stock embossed with Decorative Dots embossing folder.
Using Stampin Up! ink refills I dyed both my ribbons to suit the card, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon with Crisp Cantaloupe ink and the Victoria Crochet Trim with Basic Gray ink.
The label was made with the film framelit from On Film framelit set.
I stamped with one of the sentiments from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. Topped it all off by using an Antique Brad with a bit of Gold Metallic Encore ink daubed on top.
Challenge complete.
Till next time.
