Oh Just Because

Do you have that absolutely fabulous paper that you have no idea, photo to match or card to make.
And you what to do something creative, how about a 3D product.

I'm in love, love, love with the In Color 2013-2015 Collection.
Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush have been incorporated
into this gorgeous construction, there is also Baked Brown Sugar in the collection
but I haven't used that on in this project.
When you love these colours Venetian Romance Designer Series paper is perfect match..

I have used all Stampin' Up! products and tools in styling my beautiful creation.
I handcrafted these flowers using the new Petite Petal punch and a Simply Scored Stylus.
I used the 3/4"circle punch to create the little swirls,
the large flower is made with Pansy Punch
and the medium size cabbage flowers are made with the smallest flower framelit
from the Secret Garden Framelit set.

Using Simply Pressed Clay and a stamp set call Stippled Blossoms
I created these cute little leaves.
Just take one of the leaves from the set, stamp it on a a small peace of clay in the shape of a leaf, shape and
leave to dry, when clay is dry combine Crystal Effects and Pistachio Pudding ink and paint it on to the leaves.
the heart and just because banner were done the same way using different inks.

So just because you can, you should.
'Til next time.

Oh So Pretty

Pink and Red
are not easy colours to blend well but
this year's In Color 2013-2015 Strawberry Slush makes is easy.
Combining the Background Builder stamp set with Strawberry Slush Ink Stamped on Very Vanilla Card stock made the perfect looking back ground which help blend two tricky colours.

I backed the Photos on to Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper (Soft Suede and Very Vanilla)
matched up with hand made flowers using Secret Garden Framelits, Boho Blossoms flower punch and Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds.
the leaves are made with Very Vanilla card stock and the Bird Builder punch daubed with Pear Pizzaz ink top off with Crystal Effects.
I dyed Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon using Blushing Bride ink refill then daubered the edges with Strawberry Slush ink.
I finished off the page with cross-stitched Linen Thread, an arrow paper clip from Stampin' Up! Hung Up Cute Clips pack
and the first two letters out of the "merry" from the Expressions Thinlits Dies ( from the Holiday catalogue)
cut out of Silver Foil Sheets.
I hope this give you some great ideas.
'til next time.

Through The Years

What to do with an accumulation of photos that are too small by themselves and don't have other photos that tell the same story and are just too cute or the memory too fond to neglect by not scrapping them. This is a great way to get around those problems.
Using 12"x12" Very Vanilla cardstock as the base, incorperating the in color collection from
2013-2015 (Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush) ink colours with the stamp sets Background Builders and Gorgeous Grunge.
The flowers are hand made using Secret Garden Framelits and the
wonderful Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds and the Pressed Clay to match. The little swirls are made from 3/4" Circle Punch.
The DSP used to back the photos is called Venetian Romance and has been distressed using the Stampin' Distress Tool.

Hope that this inspires you and helps you to use those unforgotten but difficult to scrap photos.
Until next time. . .
